Facebook Marketplace Jobs are Disappearing

Over the past few years, staffing companies and employers had the ability to post job openings on Facebook’s Marketplace for free. Candidates could easily search for positions that matched their criteria and apply online through Facebook.

It seemed like a great feature for job seekers and employers alike. Unfortunately, it looks like all good things come to an end.

Jobs on Facebook (as we know it now) is Coming to an End on February 22, 2022.

You can see the full details of these changes on Facebook’s Business Help Center. But here is a summary

Job Groups on Facebook Will Become General Groups

Existing Facebook Groups with a “Jobs” group type will be changed to the “General” group type and the “Jobs” group type will no longer be available.

All Partner Integrations Will Disappear

Haley Marketing worked diligently to be accepted into Facebook’s partner integration program to increase exposure for staffing industry jobs. Unfortunately, all of those integrations will no longer be available with Facebook’s new changes.

Jobs on Facebook Browser Will Be Removed

Jobs on Facebook will no longer be available on the Facebook Lite app or Facebook mobile website (m.facebook.com/jobs) for both employers and seekers. The Jobs on Facebook browser will no longer be available.
